SOMETECH (CEO Yang Hee-bong) recently announced its participation in the ARAB HEALTH 2024 international medical device exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Center in the United Arab Emirates.

ARAB HEALTH, which started in 1976 and is now in its 49th edition, is the largest international medical device exhibition in the Middle East and Africa. This year, over 3,450 companies from 180 countries participated.

A company official commented, “The VOMS-400, which recently received CE certification, generated a lot of attention at the exhibition, aligning with the export sales that began last year. We also saw high interest in other 3D products, our existing medical imaging diagnostic system, and RF electrosurgical units.” He added, “We will continue to participate in international exhibitions to explore new markets and create new growth opportunities.”

Building on the success of last year, SOMETECH has set four key strategies for this year:

• Expanding sales of 3D medical devices through existing distributors
• Establishing and strengthening local supply chain systems in various countries
• Showcasing differentiated optical technologies
• Enhancing SI (System Integration) capabilities

These strategies aim to lead the 3D medical device market.

In addition, SOMETECH plans to attend the Asia Pacific Ophthalmology Society conference in Bali, Indonesia, at the end of February, where they will present the future of the 4K 3D digital video surgical microscope (OPH) alongside their KOL and optical companies from around the world, with ophthalmic medical equipment on display.
