On December 18, 2024, Dr. Se Joon Woo, renowned specialist from Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, made a significant contribution during the webinar hosted by The American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) titled “Cutting Across Continents: ASRS and Asia/Pacific.”

Dr. Woo presented his paper titled “A New Wide-Field Viewing 3D-Microscopic System Using a Single Lens: RetOn.” The RetOn® is the non-contact viewing system developed by Sometech and used on VOMS-400, Sometech’s 3D 4K Video Digital Operating Microscopy System. Dr. Woo categorized RetOn® as “an innovative surgical imaging device that enables noncontact wide-field viewing with only one single lens without an additional inverter.” In his presentation, he also demonstrated its successful application.
